Minor in Sport Management (SPMT)

This minor is available to all Mason students, with the exception of RHT students in any one ot the HFRR degree programs (Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Parks and Outdoor Recreation, Sport Management, Therapeutic Recreation, or Tourism and Events Management).

Requirements (approved 10/06):

18 Credits (8 unique to the minor):

• SPMT 201- Intro to Sport Management (3 credits)
• SPMT 405 -Sport Operation and Planning (3 credits)
• SPMT 412-Sport Marketing (3 credits)
• SPMT 420- Economics & Finance in the Sport Industry (3 credits)
• SPMT 455-Governance & Policy in Sport Organizations (3 credits)
• PRLS 410- Administration of RHT Organizations I (3 credits)
