Tourism and Events Management (TEM)
Admissions
Entering Freshmen and Transfer Students
Prospective TEM students must be admitted to George Mason University. Online application forms and additional information are available through the Admissions Office. As early as possible, admitted students should declare TEM as their major concentration.
Changing your major and your concentration to TEM
Current Mason students may change to or declare a major in Tourism and Events Management by completing and submitting the Undergraduate Change/Declaration of Academic Program form. When completing the form, use 'TEM' as the Major code. Circle 'BS' on the New Degree line. Students should see the TEM Coordinator, Dr. Maggie Daniels (201B Bull Run Hall), for her signature as the new advisor.
Declaring TEM as a minor
Mason students majoring in any program or concentration at George Mason University can begin to pursue a minor in TEM by submitting the Undergraduate Declaration of Minor form. When completing the form, fill in the Declaration/Change of Minor section and use 'TEM' as the Minor code. Students should see the TEM Coordinator, Dr. Maggie Daniels (201B Bull Run Hall), for her signature as the advisor.
