Admission to Tourism and Events Management

Entering Freshmen and Transfer Students

Prospective TEM students must be admitted to George Mason University. Online application forms and additional information are available through the Admissions Office. As early as possible, admitted students should declare TEM as their major concentration.

Changing your major and your concentration to TEM

Current Mason students may change to or declare a major in Tourism and Events Management by completing and submitting the Change/Declaration of Academic Program form. When completing the form, use ‘TEM’ as the  Major code.  Circle ‘BS’ on the New Degree line. Students on the Virginia campuses should see the TEM Coordinator, Dr. Russ Brayley (201C Bull Run Hall), for his signature as the new advisor. GMU-RAK students should have their Change/Declaration of Academic Program form approved by the local TEM faculty member who will serve as academic advisor.

Declaring TEM as a minor
